Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, Chapter 3

Usami sends Yuka Okkotsu, Tsurugi Okkotsu, and the Simurian envoy Maru to Gifu Prefecture to investigate strange reports of a man-eating shark that seems to be “swimming” through the forest. The bizarre situation causes confusion and makes some people suspicious of Maru.

There, they meet a sorcerer who uses a special séance-like ability that lets him draw power from items he wears. Using unusual gear, he has been involved in the strange sightings. As the truth comes out, they learn the real danger is a wild tiger that has become aggressive after losing its natural home due to human actions.

The situation turns into a serious moral dilemma—should they show mercy or protect the nearby villagers? The decision forces them to confront the harsh reality of responsibility and survival, while Maru quietly observes, hinting that he is judging humanity for reasons of his own.
